NDCXL Round 11 : Stockley Country Park

Stockley Park is on the site of an old pit and the course is unlike any of the others used for the league. It consists mainly of farm tracks with only one twisty section and a particularly muddy track through a wood.

Cold foggy conditions greeted the riders and plenty of standing water provided liberal opportunities for mud and spray to cover the riders and their bikes.

NDCXL Round 10 : Trent Meadows

Conditions were cold & dry for the latest round of the NDCXL.

The course, devised by Rory Screaton and his team from VC Long Eaton, allowed for fast racing with plenty of overtaking opportunities. Although generally flat, it used the terrain to provide plenty of variation, with two steep banks to run up and quite a few tricky corners.

National Trophy Round 4 : Mallory Park

DMRCís only riders were both in the Veterans 50+ race where Dave Smith finished 9th to maintain his overall 6th† place in the series & Pete Turner in his first NT race finished 16th† out of 27.

DMRC were better represented in the officials where John Holmes, Mervyn & Chris Bradley all acted as commisaires.
Remember DMRC are jointly promoting the final round in the National Trophy on January† 18th so† make sure you are available to help if youíre not riding.

NDCXL Round 9 : Darley Moor Sports Centre

Darley Moor is Jekyll & Hyde course ; if it is dry it would be really fast but unfortunately it is never dry when run in November. Being pancake flat, any rain just lies on the surface and turns the grassy sections to a quagmire in places. The skill lies in ëreadingí the best line and knowing when to dismount and run rather than struggling through the mud on the bike.

NDCXL Round 8 : Bingham Leisure Centre

A pig of a course set by Dave Gretton of VC Nottingham.

The many off-camber corners caused many riders to come to grief as the conditions worsened over the course of the afternoon.
